My wife, Tolly, and I got to scoot on up to Rhode Island for a few days to escape the Charleston heat and get some good quality time in before welcoming our first child to soak up the last little bit of it just being the two of us in this family. We’d both been looking forward to visiting Newport having never really been to New England before - it was the best few days soaking up the summer and the scenic coast all around the state.
